Meaning: Thank you!
When to use: When you want to say thank you, such as when leaving a bus in Dublin, you always say thanks to the driver.

Pronunciation: Guh nye-ree on bo-hur lat
Meaning: May the road rise to meet you
When to use: When someone is going on a journey or starting a new chapter of their life.
Sláinte!
Pronunciation: sloyn-cha
Meaning: Health (to your health)!
When to use: In Ireland you’ll often hear sláinte used when someone wants to say cheers, be it as a curteous thank you or with friends out for a drink!
Le Grá
Pronunciation: le graw
Meaning: With love
When to use: On special occasions, alongside gifts, as a special valentine’s card, and anywhere else you want to share the love.
